Macanudo

Macanudo

Macanudo Cigars is a favorite not only of famous celebrities but of countless cigar fans every where. Originally linked to the renowned brand Punch, and its origins in Jamaica, General Cigar Company introduced Macanudo Cigars as its own brand in 1971. Manufacturing was soon moved to the Doninican Republic and remains there today. The heart of Macanudo is the Dominican filler wrapped in a Connecticut shadeleaf. The binder used is a leaf grown in the San Andres Tuxtla Valley of Mexico. All these combine to create a cigar that is mild yet flavorful, with a unique silkiness to the smoke. The maduro version offers hints of delicate chocolate while retaining that trade mark flavor known by Macanudo. From its very creation, Macanudo has a following that is never disappointed.
